The demand for stable recycled material

Manufacturers face growing pressure to raise recycled content while maintaining product quality and stable supply. Finding material that meets recycled-content targets and fits existing production lines is the common challenge.

INTCO Recycling (英科再生) focuses on one-stop PCR solutions for manufacturing customers. Its supply chain covers recycling, processing, and end-use application. Material grades include PS, PET, HDPE, and PP.

Case: rPS in thermoformed packaging

In China, recycled PS has moved past initial adoption. What matters now is stable integration into production and consistent quality at volume.

A thermoformed packaging company importing recycled PS faced three issues: whether the material would run smoothly on existing lines, whether batch performance would stay consistent, and whether supply could be sustained. INTCO provided a recycled PS material with greater consistency, drawing on its recycling system, feedstock supply, and quality control. The customer integrated the material into existing equipment and scaled production.

PCR product range

• rPS: Recycled polystyrene pellets made from100% recovered material, processed from EPS foam collected globally. Purity, compressive strength, and flow properties match virgin GPPS. Supplied to XPS insulation board, decorative molding, and appliance liner customers. 
• rPET: Food-grade rPET pellets from INTCO's Malaysia base hold FDA and EFSA food-contact certifications. Quality matches virgin PET for European and American FMCG brand ESG procurement and compliance requirements. Fiber-grade pellets and food-grade sheet materials cover spinning and food packaging. 
• Recycled polyolefins: rPE resists acids, bases, and impact, suitable for water supply and drainage pipes and geomembranes. rPP covers general and modified grades, from daily injection-molded parts to automotive components and appliance housings, with custom flame-retardant and UV-resistant formulations available.

About the exhibitor

INTCO is a high-tech manufacturer in resource recycling. It operates six production bases globally: Zibo (Shandong), Fengxian (Shanghai), Lu'an (Anhui), Zhenjiang (Jiangsu), Malaysia, and Vietnam.

INTCO holds 10 national invention patents and 91 utility model patents. It has participated in drafting two national standards and one group standard. Its recycling system has the capacity to recover and reuse around 100,000 tons of PS plastic annually. The company states this helps reduce global carbon emissions by 200,000 tonnes per year, save 300,000 tonnes of crude oil, and avoid the felling of about 2 million trees.
