It is also equipped with a smart overload protection system; when encountering severe wrapping or rigid blockages, the machine automatically reverses and triggers an alarm, self-correcting within a short time to drastically reduce downtime.
When handling massive, high-hardness plastic purgings, the equipment utilizes current sensors to dynamically adjust its output torque, automatically boosting power the moment it hits exceptionally hard objects. This allows oversized materials to be fed directly without any pre-cutting, effectively extending the lifespan of the cutting tools.

1.PC Materials


Bulk PC (polycarbonate) purgings are inherently pure, high-value, rigid waste materials generated during PC extrusion or injection molding. Sourced primarily from companies extruding PC boards, sheets, profiles, and pipes, as well as PC modification and compounding facilities, these materials are exceptionally hard, tough, and bulky. Shredding them has long been an industry pain point.
A plastics modification company in Qingdao previously relied on hydraulic shears to cut these massive purgings into smaller pieces before feeding them into a granulator. This process was highly hazardous, as flying debris during shearing could injure workers, and the overall efficiency was painfully low while putting excessive stress on the granulator. After integrating shredders from Yuzhuo Machinery, their processing efficiency increased significantly, and workplace safety was completely secured.
2.Tire Cord Fabrics

An enterprise in Guizhou was struggling with one of the most notoriously difficult materials in the recycling sector: waste tire cord fabrics. Tire cords possess extreme toughness, tear resistance, and tensile strength, while the remaining rubber is highly elastic and stretches under compression. During shredding, this combination easily wraps around the main shaft and cutting tools, making output size difficult to control and rendering the material impossible to feed directly into a pulverizer or granulator.
To address these material characteristics, Yuzhuo Machinery deployed proprietary anti-tangling cutters paired with a customized Model 1000 single-shaft shredder. The company linked this with an infeed belt conveyor, a Model 800 granulator, and an air separation system to build a complete processing line.
The anti-tangling design minimizes fiber wrapping at the source, while the granulator and air separator precisely control output size and purity. Delivering a throughput of up to 500 kg per hour, the system perfectly satisfies the client's pre-granulation requirements and earned their highest praise.
3.MSW Bag Ripping

A smart technology enterprise in Zhejiang focuses on municipal solid waste (MSW) sorting. MSW is typically collected and processed in bags; tearing these open manually is not only highly labor-intensive but also poses significant risks to workers' physical and mental health.
To meet the demands of MSW sorting, Yuzhuo Machinery utilized a detachable cutter head design. Through the ingenious interplay of the cutter tips, tools, counter knives, and rotary blades, the company achieved a "rip the bag, spare the waste" solution. The machine tears open the trash bags without damaging the recyclable items inside, making it much easier for downstream systems to sort out valuable target materials.
Equipped with the Model 1400 dual-shaft bag ripper, the system achieves a throughput of over 14.5 tons per hour. It efficiently replaces manual bag ripping and ensures a stable, continuous feed for the subsequent sorting line.
